Our founder
My name is Kennedy Cooper, and I am the Owner of She Lift Collective.
My active lifestyle started at a very young age. I was put into sports by the time I was eight years old like many of us. But nothing ever sparked my fire the way soccer did. It became more than just a sport; it was where I built lifelong friendships and found a core group of strong, like-minded girls.
At that age, it can be hard to find where you fit in. I was always more of a tomboy, more interested in the game than going shopping. That created an identity struggle for me. At times, I felt really alone. Even though I was training twice a day and was in the best shape of my life as a young woman, I still saw myself as “the bigger friend.” I had strong quads, broad shoulders, and a shorter frame, and instead of seeing strength, I saw something that didn’t fit the mold.
As I got older, social media became more prominent. The constant comparison, cyberbullying, and unrealistic standards slowly conditioned me to believe that my body wasn’t normal or good enough. That mindset led me down a difficult path. Struggling with an eating disorder, losing my passion, and turning to unhealthy habits.Before I knew it, I had reached over 250 pounds and felt completely lost. I had hit rock bottom, and I knew I needed to rebuild.
The gym became my turning point. It became my peace, my therapy, and the place where I reconnected with the fire I had as a young athlete. Through strength training, I didn’t just transform physically, I healed.
In that process, I made a promise to myself: to dedicate my life to helping women do the same. To create a space where no woman or young girl ever feels like she isn’t enough because of what she sees online. And to remind every woman who walks through my doors that she is powerful, worthy, and capable, exactly as she is.
At She Lift Collective, this is more than personal training, it’s a home.
A space for women who have ever felt out of place, overlooked, judged, or not enough. For those who were told they were too much, too girly, too tomboy, too loud, too quiet, or simply not accepted for who they are.
Here, you don’t have to shrink, change, or force yourself into someone else’s box. You don’t have to prove your worth. You belong the moment you walk in.
